Founded in 1983, Gogal Air Services is more than just an air charter service provider; it is a family business that cares – about people, employees, clients, and the community it serves.

Gogal Air Services is locally owned and operated in Snow Lake, MB, approximately 400 miles north of Winnipeg. A leading provider of aviation transportation services in the north, Gogal Air consists of a team of experienced pilots who each possess skills to fly fixed or rotary-winged aircrafts and provide logistical advice for any plan a client may have. The Gogal Air team will help you execute your project, whether it is hauling freight, mining or exploration, drill moves, or claim/post staking.

“We have on average five pilots,” says Jackie Gogal, Rotary Wing Aircraft Pilot and Office Manager. “We are a turn-key operator for exploration in the Snow Lake area. Our company has experience in the industry. It has grown up and operated in northern Manitoba, so we know what the clients’ needs are and we can meet them.”

Currently, Gogal Air is providing helicopter support for the drilling and operations to expand the Lalor Lake deposit for Hudbay Minerals Inc. Jackie says Gogal Air is also supporting the development of Lithium explorations in the Snow Lake area.

The current fleet consists of both helicopters and fixed-wing aircrafts (both float and wheel-equipped) and includes the Bell 206 Longranger, the DHC-2 Dehaviland Beaver, the Cessna 185, and the Piper Navajo Chieftain. The fleet is meticulously maintained and upgraded to the highest standards. The fleet is selected to improve both economy and safety in mining and seismic applications to readily meet any requirements in the field. Each aircraft is equipped with on-board satellite phones, real-time satellite flight tracking, mobile GPS, FM radio, and sling gear.

The Gogal Air team also supports the Manitoba Sustainable Development Wildfire Program by providing suppression action on forest fires using its fleet. Their AS350 B2/SD2 charter is their choice of fire-fighting machine, with its speed, range, and enormous payload. It is fully equipped for bucketing and the team is well-experienced in wildfire management.

The company’s top priority is providing the safest and most efficient air transportation services in the industry. Gogal Air has a thorough and extensive safety program that meets and exceeds national standards.

On top of everything, Gogal Air Services also has a one-stop shopping centre in its facility for your exploration program. As well, Gogal Air holds facilities for clients to do core logging, core cutting, core storage, and space to help with accommodations for any program their clients may have.
