The Central Canada Mineral Exploration Convention (CCMEC) was founded in November 2018 and was the first-ever industry-driven mineral exploration convention in Manitoba. In 2023, the Mining Association of Manitoba (MAMI) took on managing CCMEC. The event now features two days of globally recognized speakers and attracts an attendance of more than 700.

 Why Attend?

The theme of CCMEC 2024 is Exploring Connections at all different levels. The event will offer networking opportunities with prevalent stakeholders in the mineral exploration and mining industry in central Canada. Attendees will include exploration professionals, academics, government representatives, supplies, financiers, innovators, Indigenous Peoples, and community representatives. The convention will also provide opportunities for professional development and industry engagement.

The vision for CCMEC is to be one of the international conventions of choice, which will establish Manitoba as a global centre for exploration and mining. MAMI hopes to continue the success from previous years with another exciting event for the central Canada mining and mineral exploration industry.
