Yukon Geoscience Forum & Tradeshow November 20–23, 2021 www.yukongeoscience.ca
The 49th Annual Yukon Geoscience Forum & Tradeshow is being held in Whitehorse, Yukon on November 20–23, 2021. The show is presented in partnership by the Yukon Chamber of Mines, Yukon Geological Survey, and BMC Minerals. This year, the conference will be a hybrid conference, which will consist of both in-person and online events.
Every year, the Geoscience Forum & Tradeshow offers opportunities to celebrate relationships and build partnerships, while keeping to up to date with trends and best practices in the industry The forum hosts First Nations, government, and industry under one roof and encourages attendees to interact with each other while exploring geopolitical themes and technical topics. This year’s highlighted themes include innovation, technology, and partnerships.
The success of the Yukon Geoscience Forum has been rooted in the strength of the technical program, which is currently accepting submissions. The Geoscience Tradeshow features exhibitors from around the world and lasts through four days. Located beside the technical sessions, attendees are encouraged to interact with vendors through events like the ‘ice-breaker’ reception and lunches on the show floor.
In addition, the Yukon Geoscience Forum hands out awards to well-deserving nominees in three categories: Member, Community, and First Nations in Mining. If you know of excellence in these categories, make sure to fill out a nomination form prior to the conference.
